Enterprise File Service and associated file shares have been restored. Performance has stabilized, and administrators will continue monitoring.

Monitoring
Enterprise File Service, which hosts networked file shares such as H:\ and Q:\, was briefly unavailable this morning. Administrators have restored service but continue to work through instability issues. As such the service may become intermittently unavailable again.
Users may have experienced, or continue to notice, the opening of the Windows File Explorer hanging or responding very slowly, unavailability of files stored on files shares, and for computer logins to hang.
