Scheduled Maintenance Report for Illinois State University

The VPN maintenance to add capacity to the service has been successfully completed. This work was undertaken to provide overhead capacity to our service as employees and students will work remotely. While we believe the service could accommodate the demands of the campus, we also believed proactively adding capacity would be helpful to ensure a smooth transition.

Please note the VPN connection for Cherwell login authentication is still down at this time. Administrators are working with the vendor to restore service.

VPN services will be unavailable or intermittent during this maintenance window. This maintenance work is being completed to enhance the capacity of our VPN service. We believe that there is enough capacity in our service, and this work will provide additional capacity in preparation of the expected increase from remote work.


The impacted services include: 
- PCI
     - Cherwell
     - PeopleSoft
     - Cisco AnyConnect
     - All Remote Offices
     - Azure
- Network Drives
- OU Campus Website Editing Access

Start Time - Monday, March 16th, 5:00 PM CST

End Time - Monday, March 16th, 7:00 PM CST

Workarounds - No workaround will be available.
