There will be five instances of two-to-five minutes each when incoming and outgoing calls to or from off-campus may not be completed successfully. Internal (campus-to-campus) calls will not be impacted, nor will currently connected calls (regardless of location).

This maintenance will bring added functionality to the Cisco Jabber Softphone (versions 12.x and up), such as the “Multiline” feature, which will improve the experience for those working remotely. Multiline allows for up to eight (8) phone lines to be configured on a Windows or Mac OS X device with the Jabber software to be able to:

• Select a preferred line for making calls
• View missed calls and voicemails
• Use call forwarding, transfers, and conference calls on all lines
• Hunt groups
• Shared lines, dial rules, and directory lookup
• Accessory manager
