Monitoring
Instructure has implemented a fix for the Canvas performance issues and is currently monitoring system stability.
Canvas should now be accessible, but we are keeping this incident active while we monitor performance across campus. If you continue to experience errors or login issues, please report them to the Technology Support Center.

Update
Instructure continues to investigate and address performance issues affecting Canvas.
While some users are now able to log in and see improved performance, the incident is not yet resolved. Others remain unable to access the system, and some logged-in users may encounter intermittent errors.
• Temporary Change: To help manage load and reduce errors, the direct Canvas links within the student class schedule in My.IllinoisState.edu have been temporarily disabled. Users should navigate directly to Canvas.IllinoisState.edu.
We will continue to monitor the situation and share updates as Instructure works toward a full resolution.

Update
Instructure is currently investigating widespread performance issues affecting Canvas. Users visiting Canvas.IllinoisState.edu may encounter slow load times or the following error: "This website is under heavy load (request timed out)."
This is a vendor-wide issue not unique to Illinois State University. Instructure has been actively working on a resolution since 12:49 PM today.
