AIS will be performing scheduled maintenance for the mainframe on May 1 at Noon. During this maintenance window, iCampus Student Information and Faculty/Staff Information channels will be unavailable. Once mainframe maintenance is completed, all iCampus services will be restored.
Maintenance was completed early today and system administrators are currently monitoring the mainframe and iCampus. Maintenance previously scheduled for today at noon will no longer take place.
Network maintenance is scheduled for Sunday, April 23 between 8a and 4p. During this outage, Telecommunications & Networking Support will be performing various software and hardware upgrades throughout the network. The following environments will be impacted by this work.
Center for the Visual Arts
Whitten Hall (non-ResNet)
Atkin Hall (non-ResNet)
Student Accounts Building
Instructional Technology Development Center
Facilities Planning Building
After this maintenance window is complete, full connectivity will be restored for all of these environments.
The Help Desk has received reports that some users are unable to access iCampus. Users may get a blank white page or "Page Cannot Be Found". The iCampus administrators have been notified about the problem.
The Mainframe is experiencing degraded performance with all CICS transactions. AIS is aware of the issue and currently working on a resolution. We will post additional information as it becomes available.
This problem has been resolved. Fixing this mainframe issue also resolved problems accessing the Faculty/Staff and Student Information channels in iCampus.
