Campus Outage

Power issues have affected network connectivity to parts of the campus.  ISU electricians and Ameren have been dispatched and are now looking into the problem. The following buildings have no network connectivity at this time:
  • Hamilton Hall
  • Whitten Hall
  • Atkin Hall
  • Colby Hall
  • Walker Hall
  • Dunn Hall
  • Barton Hall
  • Nelson Smith Building
  • Fairchild Hall
  • Hewett Hall
  • Manchester Hall
  • University High School
  • Haynie Hall
  • Wilkins Hall
  • Wright Hall
  • Linkins
  • Professional Development Building
  • Instructional Technology Building
  • Student Accounts Building

Student Recreation Building Outage

The Help Desk has received reports that there is a connectivity outage in the Student Recreation Building. Telecommunications is currently working on the problem.

This issue has been identified as a hardware failure. Telecommunications is continuing to work on the problem.

Milner Library Outage

The Help Desk has received reports that there is no network connectivity in Milner Library. Telecommunications is currently working on the problem. As more information becomes available, this web page will be updated.

Network Maintenance

The next network maintenance outage is scheduled for Sunday, November 12th from 8am until 4pm.  During this time the following buildings may experience a partial or complete network outage:
  • Cook Hall
  • Educational Administration Building
  • Edwards Hall
  • Felmley Hall of Science
  • Felmley Hall of Science Annex
  • Heating Plant
  • Hewett Hall
  • Hovey Hall
  • Julian Hall (non central services)
  • Manchester Hall
  • McCormick Hall
Wireless access for the entire campus will also not be available until 12:00pm while new updates are installed.

Datatel Maintenance

The Datatel Financial System will close at noon on Wednesday, November 8.  Please be logged out of the system by 12 p.m. on that day. The system will be available again on Thursday morning. If you have questions or concerns, please contact the Datatel Assistance Desk at 8-2270.
