Voice Mail Server Performance Degraded

The voice mail server is currently offline due to a system problem. It is expected that service will be restored within the next couple of hours.

Update

The voice mail server was offline this morning due to system problems. These problems were resolved shortly after 9a (8/11). As such, the voice mail system is back online and fully operational.

Webmail2 Maintenance

Webmail2 will be unavailable on Wednesday, August 10, from approximately 11 am to mid-afternoon while maintenance is performed. The email channel in the iCampus Portal will be available (http://www.icampus.ilstu.edu).

Network Maintenance

Telecommunications will be conducting an emergency maintenance outage at 9a this morning (Thursday 8/4), which may be up to 60 minutes. The following services will be offline during this maintenance window:
  • business dialup system
  • Level 3 communications Internet circuit
  • one of the inside DNS servers (138.87.132.1)
  • one of the campus WINS servers (172.30.40.1)
During the Level 3 maintenance, Internet connectivity will be redirected through the Illinois Century Network. The DNS and WINS maintenance should have no impact on connectivity.

Campus Email Outage

Campus email is unavailable temporarily due to a problem with one of the LDAP directories it connects to. It is expected that email will be available again shortly.

Redbird Card System Maintenance

The Redbird Card System will be offline beginning 8 a.m. on August 10 (Wednesday) for a software upgrade. Currently there is not a time frame for how long the upgrade will take, however it is not expected to be long.
