Who is Impacted: Students, faculty, and staff.

What is Impacted: Users attempting to submit payment for parking citations or purchase new parking permits via the Parking website may do so successfully, but may be presented an error stating that “Your payment may have been declined or there may have been a problem with the payment processing.”

Resolved: Administrators advise that a workaround has been implemented to mitigate this issue. Users who attempt to make a payment via the Parking website and receive the error may check their email for confirmation of payment. User who still have questions may contact the Office of Parking and Transportation at (309) 438-8391.

What is Impacted: The Cherwell desktop and web client are currently unavailable or running with degraded performance.  The customer portal is not affected at this time.  Administrators are working with the vendor to resolve the issue.

Resolved: Administrators have worked with the vendor to restore Cherwell to full functionality.

Resolved: Class Registration Performance Degraded

Who is Impacted: Students attempting to enroll in a class.

What is Impacted: The class registration portal is currently facing degraded performance. Administrators are aware of the issue and are working on a resolution. Students may be receiving any one of the two following errors when attempting to enroll in a class:

  1. "You have entered an invalid grading basis for the class. Enter a valid grading basis to continue."
     
  2. "Invalid input value for units taken."

While this is not occurring for every class, a subset of classes are facing this issue. Technicians are working with Student Records on a resolution of this issue.

Workarounds: User who receive the above errors while attempting to register for a class may contact the Registrar Service Center at (309) 438-2188 for assistance.

StarRez Housing and Dining Portal Performance Degraded

Who is Impacted: Students attempting to submit payment via the Housing and Dining portal.

What is Impacted: Students attempting to submit payment via the Housing and Dining portal may be unable to do so, and may receive an error. Administrators are aware of the issue and are working with the vendor toward resolution.

Workarounds: To report technical issues in the Housing and Dining portal, please contact the Technology Support Center at (309) 438-4357.

Resolved: Administrators have worked with the vendor to put in a temporary fix to restore the Housing and Dining Portal to normal functionality with a permanent fix being installed at a later time.  If you continue to have any issues with the Housing and Dining Portal please contact the Technology Support Center.

Update: Administrators advise that the vendor continues to monitor and investigate this issue. Users experiencing issues in the Housing and Dining portal are encouraged to contact the Technology Support Center at (309) 438-4357 for assistance.

Update: Administrators report that the system is available and seems to be running at normal functionality. They are continuing to monitor the system and working with the vendor to confirm the issue is resolved and an update will be sent out when the vendor confirms.
